Reporting America by Alistair Cooke
To mark the centenary of the birth of Alistair Cooke, Penguin have published Reporting America – a collection of his writings on the events that shaped modern American history. Including his accounts of the assassinations of John and Bobby Kennedy (at which Cooke was actually present) to the moon landings and the Monica Lewinsky affair. The book also contains transcripts of his legendary Letters From America and is illustrated throughout with iconic photographs.
